We offer obedience training for most dogs breeds, starting at six months of age. The program typically takes about 30 days. We cover all the basics- teaching your dog to sit, stay, here and heal. Your dog will be taught the foundation of being on a leash, and how to generally be a better addition to your family. If your dog is a hunter, we recommend you wait until its completed all other formal hunting training before starting obedience. If you bought your pup from OHK but do not hunt, we offer 2-3 weeks of obedience in place of the Gun Introduction included in your purchase price.

A trainer will call you every Friday, while your dog is with us, to give you a training update and to let you know when your dog is finished and ready to be picked up.
