Formal training can be done at 10 months of age and typically takes 6-8 weeks to complete. Formal training occurs once your dog has already been introduced to the gun and birds, and is designed to complete all the training your dog needs to be a well rounded hunter and companion. We can train your dog for waterfowl, upland, or both. We cover, point, woah, force fetching, recall and retrieve. Upon arrival at the kennel, you will be asked to fill out a form to better specify your hunting/training preferences. A trainer will call you every Friday, while your dog is with us, to give you an update on their training and let you know when your dog is finished and ready to be picked up.
